Faces of Dermacare: Meet Trisha O’Meara, FNP
Dermacare of Hampton Roads is more than a MedSpa. It’s a place where passion and positive outcomes flourish but don’t take our word for it. Meet Trisha O’Meara, Family Nurse Practitioner.
Trisha came to Dermacare nearly two years ago. She has about nine years of experience in the aesthetics field. She is passionate about injectables and lasers. Her expertise is in Botox Cosmetic, the full range of dermal fillers, and laser and radio frequency treatments.
“Dermacare is the BEST place to enable me to practice my passion,” says Trisha. “I like to educate above all and always do my best to deliver ideal outcomes. I strive to build a long-lasting professional relationship with each patient based on trust.”
Getting to Know Trisha
Trisha is a people person. She loves to cook (but not clean) and entertain. Her hobbies include exercise and dance.
“I love my man, Todd,” says Trisha, “and my long-haired German Shepard, Tyrus. He may be the most spoiled dog EVER! Although, I know there are a lot of dog lovers out there who would disagree with me!”
What does the future hold for Trisha? “I would like to travel more,” she says. But for now, you can bet on finding her at Dermacare of Hampton Roads because it’s where her passion and expertise in all facets of aesthetic medicine continue to grow.
Trisha’s Favorite Treatments
What is Trisha’s favorite treatment to perform for patients? “Injections because it truly is medical artistry,” she answers. “Everyone is different, and I love when I can enhance natural beauty and enable people to feel better about themselves.”
When it comes to receiving treatment, Trisha likes much of Dermacare’s lineup, but she does have a favorite. “I’d have to say I still love facials with dermaplaning because it makes my skin feel smooth, youthful, lighter and brighter.”
Trisha loves to help people, and she takes great pride in always recommending what is best for the patient. She doesn’t push a particular brand, sale, price point, or overstocked inventory. She suggests what has the highest potential of giving the patient the outcome they desire. She’s a big supporter of a good sunscreen because it’s an essential basic to healthier and younger looking skin.
“What’s ‘good’ and what ‘kind’? Come and see me,” says Trisha. “I will pair you with what’s best for you.”
So swing by. Trisha and our staff can’t wait to help you look and feel your very best.
