How long can you expect BOTOX® results to last, and what kind of maintenance should you expect to sustain maximum results?

BOTOX® Results Timeline

As we previously discussed, BOTOX® results can take anywhere from 5 to 7 days to start noticing results, with the full effect in 2 weeks to become visible. In most cases, the results last 3-4 months.

Maintaining continuous benefits requires treatments at regular intervals. Your treatment schedule is likely to be once every three or so months, and you can always consider scheduling a session before a special event.

BOTOX® Results Are Not Permanent

Your lines and wrinkles will slowly return over time, especially if you decide to discontinue treatment. You and your provider will work together to find a balance between maintaining your desired results and other wrinkle softening treatments.

While typical patients return for injections every three or so months, some patients opt for a four to a six-month maintenance schedule.
