The Faces of Dermacare: Meet Carrie Labert, PA-C

Carrie graduated from physician assistant school in 2000 and has since worked in dermatology as well as allergy and asthma. Her love for dermatology led to her working for a dermatologist in San Diego in 2003. It was there that she gained experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Today, Carrie has over 15 years of medical experience.

Carrie’s drive to always listen to patients and their concerns is unrivaled. She strives to teach patients about their conditions and actively offers qualified treatment plan recommendations. She only recommends what she truly believes will give her patients their best outcomes.

Getting to Know Carrie

Carrie’s husband is active Navy. She loves that the military has brought her family back to Virginia Beach. She is a mother of four and spends much of her free time with her children.

“They are my inspiration for everything,” says Carrie of her kids. “I am in awe of their teachers, and I try my best to support them as much as possible as well so that they can continue practicing their magic in the classroom.”

It’s not a surprise that one of Carrie’s favorite things to do is pack up the kids and her stress-relieving Great Dane after school on a Friday and go on an adventure. During late spring and early fall, they are often found at Sandbridge Beach unwinding over dinner.
