Megan comes to us with three years experience working in a dermatology practice and truly appreciates the medical approach to skin care treatments. “Using the right treatments for the right patients and seeing the results is extremely gratifying for me,” she said.
Megan has a passion for helping people with their skin and body contouring goals and received her Professional Esthetician certificate in 2015, her Licensed Master Esthetician certificate in 2016 and completed Coolsculpting University in 2017.

One treatment that Megan loves performing and also being a patient for is dermaplaning. She feels it provides instant gratification. “Everyone’s skin looks amazing after dermaplaning, and product penetrates so much deeper when you exfoliate and remove the top layer of skin.”

As a Virginia Beach local who spent a few years in California after graduation from ODU, Megan felt a strong pull back to her family on the East Coast. She met her husband here (also a VB native) and they married in November 2017. Their favorite past time together is treasure hunting for sea glass on the shores of Coastal Virginia or at the family beach house in Carova, North Carolina. They also enjoy the beach with their two rescue pups – Carma, a 10-year old American Bulldog/Pitbull mix, and Gigi, a 3-year old Pitbull. She calls them her 4-legged children – until the 2-legged ones come around!

She is a proud Navy wife and enjoys being a part of that vibrant and supportive community. In her free time, you’ll find her at the gym doing “crossfit-style” workouts.

Megan describes working at Dermacare as a “breath of fresh air.” She feels that the level of care that patients receive from all providers and the front desk team is second to none. “There is such a strong family feeling here and everyone is so welcoming.”
