Maximum results from your BOTOX® treatment can take up to 14 days to be achieved. Still, it depends on how much time has passed since the initial treatment, among other factors, such as the quality of the BOTOX® clinic you received treatment from. While most results last for 3-4 months, the length of time BOTOX® lasts can vary from person to person.
Visible BOTOX® results vary from person to person. Most patients see minor results, on average, 5 to 7 days after treatment. However, BOTOX® takes up to 14 days to fully activate. While some patients see changes rapidly, maximum results can take up to 2 weeks from the initial treatment to be fully realized.
Are BOTOX® Results Immediate?
No. Results are not usually visible the same or the next day.
It takes time for the BOTOX® injections to kick in because the BOTOX® binds at a connection point between muscles and nerves called the motor endplate. Injections are absorbed by the nerve cells first and take time to work into the muscles. Once the targeted muscle groups stop contracting, the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the surface of the skin lessens.
