While a mommy makeover can mean different things to different clinics, we define it as the combination of specialized treatments that will help you love your postpartum (and beyond!) body. Body Contouring

Did you know that it’s possible to get rid of stubborn belly fat without any anesthesia and with little to no downtime? If you’ve found yourself searching for ways to eliminate your mommy tummy without going under the knife, body contouring may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Unlike cosmetic surgery procedures such as liposuction, the fat melting and fat freezing options we have at Dermacare of Hampton Roads are non-invasive and pain-free (to most people). During your consultation, one of our Dermacare of Hampton Roads Experts will determine whether fat melting or fat freezing is best for your desired results. For fat-melting, we generally use Exilis Ultra; for fat freezing, we use CoolSculpting.

Skin Tightening

Nothing puts a dent in your confidence like loose, saggy skin. It can occur anywhere on the body but tends to affect us most when it’s on our face, neck, or chest area. A lot of moms who breastfeed their babies also struggle with saggy breasts.

The good news is that we offer two different types of skin tightening treatments: Exilis Ultra and BBL SkinTyte. Both can reveal smoother, more youthful skin without surgery. Treatment times can vary based on the method used and the amount needed, usually between 3 and 4 for the Exilis Ultra. BBL SkinTyte is sold in packages of 5.

Stretch Mark Reduction

If you’re ready to reduce or eliminate stretch marks, Vivace Microneedling is the treatment for you. It works by stimulating your body’s production of collagen and elastin to provide results that improve over 3-6 months. This treatment is FDA-approved and uses ultrafine needles to penetrate the skin and deliver radiofrequency (heat) energy to deeper layers of the skin. Unfortunately, most of our patients tell us it feels warm and slightly pinchy. One treatment takes between thirty minutes to an hour to perform, depending on the size of your treatment area. (While we most always lead with Vivace RF Microneedling for stretch mark revision, we will sometimes also recommend fractional laser treatment, like Halo or the laser CoolPeel, in combination.)

Wrinkle Reduction
