Dr. Keith Nichols serves as the Medical Director at Dermacare of Hampton Roads, bringing more than two decades of medical expertise and clinical leadership to the practice. With over 22 years of experience in the medical field, including emergency medicine, venous and lymphatic medicine, and laser-assisted microcannular tumescent liposuction, Dr. Nichols has built a reputation for advancing high standards of patient safety, evidence-based care, and modern minimally-invasive treatment approaches.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nichols has held senior clinical and leadership roles within established medical organizations, helping guide treatment protocols, clinical quality standards, and best practices in patient care. His experience overseeing thousands of patient cases and working alongside multidisciplinary medical teams has shaped his commitment to thoughtful oversight, responsible innovation, and exceptional clinical outcomes.
As Medical Director, Dr. Nichols provides clinical guidance and oversight to ensure that Dermacare’s treatments, technologies, and protocols meet the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and medical integrity. His role focuses on supporting the clinical team, maintaining rigorous treatment standards, and helping to integrate the latest advancements in aesthetic and minimally-invasive medicine.
Dr. Nichols is also dedicated to community impact. He previously founded and directed a free medical clinic in Virginia and continues to support initiatives that expand access to quality healthcare.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Nichols enjoys spending time with his wife and family, including his granddaughter and beloved Yorkie. He enjoys golfing, exercising, visiting the beach, and prioritizing meaningful time with loved ones.
